Helping an NGO to raise more funds

The French NGO Solidarités International needed to promote their work about access to water and hygiene in the slums of Dhaka. We documented their work on the field with photos and interviews that they are used on their social media, website, advertising campaigns and annual reports.

The initial goal

Solidarités International needed to raise funds for their projects in Bangladesh. Due to the actual Rohingya refugees situation in the region, these smaller, but still essential, projects have difficulties getting some attention.

The solution

More than just pictures, we proposed Solidarités International to gather stories, about the people living in the slum, the issues of the community and the daily work of their local members. We wanted to be able to create emotional connections between the potential donors and the people they are helping in order to increase the chance of getting donations.

Vincent photographed the very difficult reality of these populations without being miserable. More than images, he brought stories of hope, expressing the values of Solidarités International

The results

After spending 3 days on the field with the local teams, we delivered a presentation of 156 slides including 342 photo and 12 interviews categorised by subjects. Solidarités International is, since then, using these images to support their awareness and fundraising efforts. We’re always proud to see those pictures used on their Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, annual reports, youtube videos, printed ads, newspapers or corporate website.
